Smart2go Egypt ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website smart2go.store and sells Android-based car entertainment and navigation systems to customers in Egypt and the broader region. We are the data controller for all personal information collected through this site.

We collect information you provide directly when you place an order, register an account, submit a compatibility question, or contact support. This includes:

• Full name, email address, phone number, and delivery address
• Vehicle information (make, model, year) that you submit for compatibility verification
• Order history, warranty registrations, and support correspondence

We also collect limited technical data automatically when you browse the site, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and time on site. This data is used for analytics and security purposes only.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. You may encounter the following categories:

• Order and transaction records are kept for 5 years to comply with Egyptian commercial and tax law.
• Support correspondence is kept for 2 years after the ticket is closed.
• Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent plus a further 12 months for audit purposes.
• Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to 26 months.

When the applicable retention period expires, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your data where we have no legal obligation to retain it
• Object to processing for marketing purposes at any time
• Port your data to another service in a machine-readable format

This Privacy Policy is governed by Egyptian law, including the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations. Where we process data of individuals located in the European Union, we comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to the extent applicable.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and access controls for systems that store personal information. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; while we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email to registered customers. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
